Simply Design 5th Axis Dovetail Fixtures are manufactured from heat treated 4130 steel to exacting standards. Our innovative fixtures are stroner and provide a more secure hold than any other traditional workholding method on the market.
Precise Repeatability Set up times can be reduced to near zero with our unique precision locating pin. With machining access to 5 surfaces of the workpiece parts can be completed on our dovetail fixtures with the least number of operations.
Positive Clamping Force The 45-degree angle we utilize gives our fixtures tremendous clamping force. The precision ground surface allows for a 1 to 1 positive clamping force. This positive clamping force allows the fixture to holdon to as little as .06″ material.
